Jr. Pre-assembly carpenter

Job Description

We are a leading manufacturer and supplier of concrete forming & shoring solutions for the commercial high-rise, civil and industrial concrete placement industry.

Our logistic location is a large, fast-paced, facility with many products and components that need to be counted, inspected, and assembled into a wide variety of engineered solutions.

We are looking for carpenters for our pre-assembly division, that have good knowledge of wood construction and assembly practices, along with proficient use of powered tools. Candidates must have the ability to work with little supervision while following all health and safety standards at ULMA.

Duties and responsabilities

• Work safely and follow ULMA's PPE & Safety guidelines
• Background in Carpentry
• Take measurements and calculate the size and amount of material needed
• Min 2 years experience in construction
• Lift truck and/or telehandler license preferred
• Follow directions and work / communicate with other team members
• Work outdoors year-round
• Ability to read blueprints, construction drawings, and sketches
• Learn to identify parts/part numbers
• Work with small hand and power tools such as drills, grinders, routers, skill saw, etc.
• 8-hour shift
• Full-time, Permanent
• Must be fully vaccinated against Covid19 & COVID Response Plan in place
