Figueira da Foz Bridge, Portugal

Adaptation to different sections with BRIO scaffolding
This was a restoration project of a bridge built over the Mondego River. Specifically, the pier was restored to an “A” shape.

Description

This was a restoration project of a bridge built over the Mondego River. Specifically, the pier was restored to an "A" shape. The job was confronted with considerable dimensions at a height of 80 m.

ULMA Solution

The singularity or complexity of this job was grounded in the changing section of each one of the side towers comprising the pier. Thanks to the versatility of the BRIO Multidirectional Scaffolding, the project solution was feasible.

The climatic conditions and the added difficulty of assembling over water were two key factors to be overcome is this assembly process.
